Started playing when 11 yrs old at Glencorse Golf Club.
Scratch golfer at the age of 15.
Scottish Amateur Champion in 1986
Represented Scotland and Great Britain at Boys, Youth and Senior levels.
Turned Professional in 1986
Won over 50 Pro-am's and 5 72 hole tournaments on Tartan tour.
Won twice on challenge tour.
In 1993 won tour card and played full time on European tour in 1994.
Teaching Career
PGA qualified in 1992
Started teaching in 1996 at Port Royal Golf Range near Edinburgh.
Moved to Braid Hills Golf Centre in 1998.
Currently head of instruction at Braid Hills Golf Centre.
Director of golf at Playsport Golf Centre, East Kilbride.
Scottish Golf Union academy coach.
Qualified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner.
Qualified Mind Factor coach.
Technical director for sports management company Optimus Sports.
Coach to former world No.1 amateur Lloyd Saltman.
Coach to European Tour players Andrew Coltart and Jyoti Randawa.
Coach to 2009 Scottish Challenge tour winner Jamie McLeary.
